As the largest range of digital label press o;erings on the market today,
all of our ;ve models deliver the same 1200-DPI imaging quality
and print on an unrivalled range of substrates without pre-coating or
pre-treatment. Based on full-rotary printing technology with variable
repeat length press speeds are not a;ected by label size and/or the
number of colors used.
Xeikon o;ers the broadest range of digital presses to label converters
with the Xeikon 3000 Series. The Xeikon 3000 Series consists of
six models: Xeikon CX3, Xeikon 3500, Xeikon 3300, Xeikon 3050,
Xeikon 3030Plus and Xeikon 3030. All six models deliver the same
1200 dpi imaging quality. They are divided into two maximum web
widths ( 20. 3 inches and 13 inches) and three top running speeds
( 98 fpm, 63 fpm, 49.2 fpm and 31. 5 fpm). Entry-level versions are
designed to be ;eld-upgraded to the wider and/or faster speci;cations as the user’s business grows.
All Xeikon press models can print on an unrivalled range of substrates
without pre-coating or pre-treatment, including various self-adhesive
materials such as co-extruded ;lms, BOPP, PVC and PET, transparent/
opaque ;lms as well as paperboards, with substrate weights ranging from
40 gsm (1.6 mil) to 350 gsm ( 21. 65 mil).
The Xeikon presses are based on full rotary printing, with variable
repeat length, to ensure their speeds are not a;ected by the label size
and/or the number of colors used. They take advantage of Xeikon’s
X-800 digital front end. Based on open standards, the X-800 can be
integrated into any production environment and its modular setup
allows users to manage di;erent aspects of production in the most
e;cient manner possible. The X-800 o;ers ICC color management,
facilitates integration in a conventional print environment, and allows
post-RIP color adjustment, minimizing downtime while o;ering extra
;exibility. The X-800 processes all common input ;les and signi;cantly
lowers the threshold for including metadata, such as sequential numbers
or bar codes.
Xeikon presses use dry toner imaging technology, which meets all the
applicable FDA guidelines for indirect as well as direct contact with dry
food substances. The Xeikon toners also exhibit very high lightfastness,
as con;rmed by independent lab tests.
